Find when the market has been similar in the past and receive objective “What Happened Next” information.

When you make any decision, the chances are you look at what has happened in the past, to see if it’s a good idea or not. Match It applies the same principle to the financial markets. We ask the simplest of questions: “What happened the last time the market was like this?”. Match It will find similar situations from the past, and provide a probabilistic breakdown of what happened in those situations. Would you be confident the market will go up, when every time it’s looked similar in the past, it’s gone down?

Really easy to install and requires minimal IT support

Match It is available through the Bloomberg App Portal on the Bloomberg Professional Service. Simply type APPS MATCHIT<GO> to launch Match It and you’ll be able to launch a free no-obligation preview. If you like the app, then you will be able to keep using the software with a single click. The app runs in its own sandbox, so there is no risk to your computer. It will automatically be updated with any new releases, without any involvement from you, so you’ll always be up to date with the latest version. Your IT Department will love it!
